Nurse Betty BScN (cand): aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Nurse Betty BScN (cand)

I am a 36 year old mother of 2. I entered university in 2005 for the BScN program but had no idea what a roller coaster ride it would be. My other interests are boating, cottaging, gardening, sitting, doing nothing, vegging and of course hard core belly button contemplating.

What is that I hear? Could it be the sound of the birds chirping outside? When did it become summer? When did The Anchors grow 3 inches each? When did The Husband become a year older and a year more handsome? When did my garden grow like a jungle? When did I get so much grey hair? When did my car and my house become so dishevelled and dirty? When did the neighbour down the street die? When did my other neighbour have his tree cut down? When, when, when???
Over the past 9.5 months, thats when. It is amazing how the first year of school has happened and my life went on without me. I wrote my last exam yesterday and I am now stuck with the very difficult decision of: What do I do first? Well it is 0854, I have sent The Anchors off to school, I have planted beets in the garden, raked the grass, watered the garden (jungle), hung a load of laundry, and now I am about to pack to go to the cottage. I wish so much that The Husband was home though to have one last afternoon together. I am excited though that he is taking the first week of summer vacation off. I miss him so much. He works entirely too much but has to because I don't. One day, I'll take care of him though, I can't wait for that day.
Take care, thanks for reading.

OMG you just totally described how I feel too! I was thinking just the other day that it felt like it took a few weeks for the toxic levels of school to slowly seep out of me and I began to notice life outside again. I had forgot what so much was like. I really needed summer to happen.

Have a grand summer with la familia!
