Okay, so I am studying for bird course #2 Popular Culture and not a word of a lie, I am reading about Keanu Reeves and virtual reality. How can I take this seriously??? The guy gave us sample essay questions yesterday, one of them was about Ferris Bueller's Day Off. "In this clip, Ferris Bueller and his pals scheme to win a table at a fine dining restaurant. What does the film suggest it takes in order to earn class mobility? To what extent is this true? " and another was about The Truman Show "In this clip, Truman exchanges flirtatious glances with Lauren, his "true love" before Truman's future wife intrudes. What might the film be suggesting is the difference between an ideal and a deviant femininity?" I'm supposed to write 500 words on questions like these. Help me before I sink into the abyss of insanity!
I think I bombed bird course #1 exam today. I am just tapped. I don't have it in me to write about stuff I don't care about. Actually I am just tired and want a break. Say it with me--One more day and no more homework, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks for 2 glorious months. I will have modules that I am expected to learn over the summer and of course I will want to relearn anatomy/physiology to prep for pathophysiology next semester but otherwise, I am a free agent. I am looking forward to playing cards with the Anchors, chatting with neighbours, watching tv with The Husband, plucking my eyebrows without thinking of the time that I am wasting. You name it, I'll be doing it, hell, I am even looking forward to cleaning my house!
I singed all the hair off my arms tonight lighting the barbeque, now my arm smells funny. Any suggestions?
Well back to the People Magazine that is my Pop Culture text book. Thanks for reading ;o)
