Nurse Betty BScN (cand): Happy Canada Day (yesterday)

Nurse Betty BScN (cand)

I am a 36 year old mother of 2. I entered university in 2005 for the BScN program but had no idea what a roller coaster ride it would be. My other interests are boating, cottaging, gardening, sitting, doing nothing, vegging and of course hard core belly button contemplating.

Happy Canada Day (yesterday)

Happy Canada Day everyone. One of our favourite days of the year. We arrived at the cottage on Thursday and have been visiting with family and friends since then. We had a huge fireworks display last night, it was awesome until the finale when the heavens opened up and started to pour rain. All was fun, none the less.
I am soooooo tired since getting here, I can't believe it, I can't stop sleeping. I have come to the conclusion that our bodies know when they can relax.

Oh before I forget, a update on the anniversary fiasco. So, The Husband realized that he screwed up and made it up the next day with a little blue box, as everyone knows there is only one blue box that I get excited over, of the Tiffany variety. He bought me a beautiful platinum band. We discussed it extensively blah blah blah. All is well, and he promises to understand what I need to keep things lively and all that blabbity blab blab. I really love that guy.

That's it for now, not much to write except that I had bacon and eggs this morning, 3 bloody ceasars, 4 vodka coolers and steak for dinner.

Hey, to answer your question at "Becoming a Nurse" blog...

I wrote that I carry "Emer-gen-C"
which is a powder (like Kool-aid for reference) which you add to water. It's energizing, good-tasting and sort of naturopathic-y.

Happy Belated Canada Day. You've taught me one thing by this post.

Canada Day = mixed drinks
US Independence Day = beer

I think I'll try the mixed drinks next year.
